Asteroid Threats: A Call for Global Response
This report, created by the Association of Space Explorer's Near-Earth Asteroid Committee and its Panel on Asteroid Threat Mitigation was published and submitted to the United Nations Committee on the Peaceful Uses of Outer Space (COPUOS) in the fall of 2008. It has since been edited and adopted by the Committee and accepted by the UN General Assembly. The General Assembly has supported the recommendations of COPUOS and the work continues today via the International Asteroid Warning Network (IAWN) and the Space Mission Planning Advisory Group (SMPAG), entities essentially recommended in our report.

Home Planet, Preface
This is the preface I wrote for The Home Planet, the ASE's first book; a "coffee table" book which presented what we ASE founding members felt were the most beautiful views of the Earth. Along with the pictures we each wrote brief descriptions of our thoughts and feelings looking down on our home planet from orbit. The book was published in 1988 in about 8 countries, each with the writing in the language of the space flyer and the country of publication.
